New Year , New Resolution, New Me, New You…

New Year , New Resolution, New Me, New You…

Everyday I wake up ,every morning is new day of me. Every morning is new challenge of me.

Lost weight, stay healthy, travel often, be happy, care who love you and don’t let any noise from outside come to your inner etc etc…

These all facts shouldn’t be new year resolutions. Should be your to do list of your everyday life. Last two years, I said myself ,I am very good at start something and bad at ending. Specially in the middle of goal (challenge) I lost interest and keep excuse about I’ll do it next time, next year, next … I hate it , I don’t like that my habit and I want to change.

*** You need a commitment strategy, not an exit strategy.***

Early this year ,thank my company gave chance to talk in our casual Friday Flocket. I do research about what should I talk, what should share information to my fellow colleagues which is meaningful and which is useful. I find out lot of tech topic, lot of life hack ,art & science but have I done all these stuff ? Have I really using these facts in daily life ? NO… so I forget about research in internet and write down what I really want to do and plan to do!!!

Habit ! I write down script about Habit and my awesome colleague draw beautiful art work and film it!

“we become what we repeatedly do” Sean Covey,

Lateness: as busy world we used to stay late, work late , busy our to do lists, meeting and etc etc.. I used to say , I am Workaholics and I love staying late to work. But when long run it will effect your health and your life cycle.

****Workaholics miss the point, too. They try to fix problems by throwing sheer hours at them. They even create crises. They don’t look for ways to be more efficient because they actually like working overtime. They enjoy feeling like heroes. They create problems (often unwittingly) just so they can get off on working more. ***

This is one of words, I love from “rework” ref:[1]

*Break the big thing into smaller things.”, Find out which one is more priority and which one you can finish.  The longer something takes, the less likely it is that you’re going to finish it. Ask and communicate effectively with your mentor, colleagues and manger when you stuck. Most importantly , everything should balance.

Negative Attitudes: as natural human being, we used to create lot of inner drama of “why this happen to me, why me , why why ?? We overthink , we insecure and we over protect which come out negative .

*Don’t make things worse by overanalyzing and delaying before you even get going. *

Be graceful what you have, give gratitude who everyone you meet, no one born to be evil. I used to be short temper and angry person. But after all I am tired, the other person who battle fight with me also tired. There is no point to be argue and angry about things which we can’t control and handle. I change my anger and stress to sports! Whenever I feel like I need to take break or I need to think , I go for run. I go to squash . Hitting the ball with my racket is better than hitting someone personality by words. Tired of running is better than tired of overthinking and over overanalyzing.

And start some hobby  and make it your habit. I take challenge every single 30days if you keep doing , that will be your habit.I choose squash as my physical sport habit. Yes! first days full of energy, full of exciting. Day 15 ,I am tried, body pain but I keep doing cause if I give up that time I will never finished. So after three months, I keep going squash every 3days in week and keep loving it.

“Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.” – Bruce Lee

I knew everyone who every read my post might knew all these facts, but we keep our knowledge as like we learn from school, we forgot to apply, we seeking info which we already know. So one of techniques I learn squash, when ball is too close to you, step back ,prepare your body, wait ball bounce and hit harder as you can.

Sometime in life, take step back, prepare for your emotion and your body strong enough to hit the waves and HIT IT! Happy Holidays everyone and Merry Christmas everyone!
